Hello, my name is Sarah Devoe, and I will be your student’s science teacher. I am excited to be joining the 8th grade team at the Florida Ruffin Ridley School.

I graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Comprehensive Science, concentrating in Health and Life Sciences. I continued my education at Providence College, where I earned my Master of Education.

This is my third year teaching science. Previously, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science courses covering earth, life, and physical sciences, as well as the scientific method. Science allows us to explore and build our understanding of the world around us.

I grew up in the Greater Boston area and enjoy spending time with family and friends. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, watching sports, and traveling.
